Navigate Pro Release 1.1.4.11
Navigate Pro will only work on Windows 10 and above
Fixes
- Updated installer.exe to handle intermittent connection outages.
- Fixed a potential HID control problem, where it might not work when the 'User Preferred Device' option was selected, but a device was not selected.
- Resolved an issue in earlier builds, where the app grew unexpectedly large in size.
- Added a fix for instances where Navigate Pro crashed on start-up.
- Solved an issue where the Dial Pad was hidden when “Docked Fav Always On Top” was enabled.
- Removed the excessive height space that appeared when Fav panel was docked.

- Tone pad is now included in “Reset Location”.
- Fixed some warnings and incorrect trace messages.
- Enabled transfer button on receiving Proceeding as well as Ringing, Allows handling of calls that do not get a Ringing message.
- Resolved headset/audio device issue, where, when a headset is plugged in, the headset was automatically selected, but the microphone defaulted to the PCs internal mic.
Please Note
Navigate Pro v1.1.4.8 and above must be run in conjunction with SelectVoice v1.5.150 or higher.
This dependency is required to support the Certificate Authority (CA) security changes that have previously been made to the SSL Gateway, when using Navigate Pro in Softphone mode, or as a Phone Partner using Centralised Partner (CP) for connectivity.
Navigate Pro has been developed on, is tested against and is supported on Windows 10 and Windows 11 when running on Intel / AMD PCs and laptops.
It has NOT been developed on, or tested against, any other computer platform and/or processor combination. As such, Splicecom are unable to guarantee the operation, or performance, of Navigate Pro when running in any other environment.

Navigate Pro Release 1.1.3.77
Navigate Pro will only work on Windows 10 and above
New Feature
- SSL Client Certificate support, for Softphones and Partners (Centralised Partner).
- Customisable audio input and output devices. User can now choose the audio inputs and outputs independently under the Audio Customise panel, i.e. when using separate microphones and speakers/headphones.
Navigate Pro will show a "no microphone fitted" warning on the main Control and the Call panel no microphone is detected.
On a platform with no microphone fitted, user’s can plug-in microphones on ringing for the inbound/outbound call and when a call is connected. This applies to "normal" platforms too.
During a call, a user can swap microphones, i.e. remove an active microphone and replace it with a different one.
During a call, the user can also swap the audio output device.
Changes
- Improved mouse tracking when moving the Control or Favourite panels on high DPI screens.
- Improved click response on the Park Slot buttons.
- Added restrictions to the minimum width and height of the docked Favourites/Control window. This prevents it from being resized too small.
- Added a Paste option to the search box.
- Revisited Tone/Keypad focus

- Clicking on the message icon in the system tray now brings the Call History panel to the front. In addition, the Favourites, Call History, Search and Setting dialogues will come to the front when the associated buttons are clicked.
- The following panels now open in their last location (i.e. where they were when they were closed): Favourites, Call History, Call panel, Completion Codes, Wrap-up and docked Favourites/Control.
- The Wrap-up and Completion Codes panels can now be relocated to any screen where multiple screens are in use.
- Park Slots are now visible when the Favourites panel appears in a sub-folder view.
- IPv4 addresses are now requested when resolving a domain name, where IPv6 and IPv4 addresses are both used.

- Crash, seen at end of call, when waveInAddBuffer() failed during the call, has been fixed.
- 'Network Interface' renamed 'Serial Number' on the drop-down Network adaptor list.
- Added IP address to the drop-down Network interface list.
- Added missing H.323 encryption changes, which fixed an issue when a softphone answered a department call on SelectVoice v1.5.
- Updated Yealink Headset SDK to overcome issue where Navigate Pro would hang when a call was put on hold.
- Resolved a Navigate Pro crash, when removing (unplugging) an active headset during a call on a PC with no built-in microphone.
- Fixed problem where “Voicemail” was shown intermittently against the calling number on the Call panel, when the call was not from Voicemail.
- Fixed issue where Navigate Pro was displaying calls with random names.
Call Panel
- Fixed a problem where the Call panel would show the incorrect Plantronics audio device when driver support was not available (not installed).
- Resolved issue where Call panel was intermittently not displayed on an incoming call.
- Resolved issue where the Call panel was not showing after picking up a call parked on the Main panel.
- Removed legacy handling of a busy call failure. This fixes an issue with the call panel intermittently getting stuck.
Upcoming Changes
- Tone panel not coming into focus when covered by another window and then re-selected via the call panel.
- Favourites window when undocked, no longer remembering its last position on start-up of NP.

Favourites Panel
- Fixed problem where a blank Favourites panel sometimes appeared.
- Fixed an issue where, on very high BLF activity, Navigate Pro could potentially crash when closing the Favourites panel.
- Fixed an issue where, on very high BLF activity, Navigate Pro could potentially freeze momentarily, when the Favourites panel is dragged.
- Fixed problem where, when a Favourites panel is minimised to the Windows Task Bar, if “Close” was clicked on the Favourites panel, its last location was not saved correctly.
- The Favourites panel now closes on restart, with its settings changed.
- Improved mouse click response/sensitivity for Pick-up.
- Resolved focus issue when Favourites panel is docked.
- Resolved an issue where a single click on a speed dial did not always work.

- Fixed an issue when the Favourites window is in docked mod, where, when clicking the Taskbar Favourite button, the main Control window would be hidden under another application.

Navigate is now being built on a Windows 10 platform. It is still supported on Windows 7 and Window 8/8.1. If you have trouble opening this version of Navigate on a Windows 7 or Windows 8/8.1 platform you have two options.
a) Make sure the latest software updates have been carried out on the PC.
b) Go to the following link and install the package which allows applications built on the Windows 10 platform to be able to run on older versions of Windows:

Navigate can be downloaded via the following link:

To ensure that the PC on which Navigate will be running has all of the required Windows files, please run the setup.exe from within the downloaded file which will install Navigate as well.

Known Issues
- There is a minor known issue with this version of Navigate Pro and older versions of SV1000 software whereby when calling a Department internally from a Yealink phone that is being partnered with this version of Navigate Pro the call will result in no audio. This was resolved in SV1.4.136 software, if you experience this issue, please ensure the SV1000 is running a minimum of 1.4.136 software
- We have spotted that sometimes with 1.1.3.20 on a fresh out of the box windows machine it will not pick up the network interfaces, the workaround is to install 1.1.2.22 first
This release has been placed on the forum so that users can update when required, the next release will use the new automatic update routines.
